SEGA is pleased to announce that a new track from the rock band ONE OK ROCK will be used as the ending theme for Sonic Frontiers, which is releasing on 11/8/2022 (Tue) for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam).

The collaboration song, Vandalize, encapsulates the boundless in-game world of Sonic Frontiers and the thrill of sprinting at Sonic-like speed. We have also released a new Sonic Frontiers video that features a portion of Vandalize. Make sure to check out the song and video!

We wanted to do this collaboration because we really resonated with Sonic, a Japanese franchise that is challenging itself in global waters. While ONE OK ROCK is currently touring the United States, we also perform all over the world, including Europe, Asia, and South America. So, we are really happy to be part of this collaboration!

The collab song, Vandalize, has a “high-velocity” vibe and Japanese-style melodies, all while retaining the signature ONE OK ROCK sound and feel. We think the song really matches Sonic's cool image and captures the refreshing feeling of running at full speed. We hope you enjoy listening to Vandalize while zooming around in Sonic Frontiers!

■Band Profile

【 ONE OK ROCK 】

The band was formed in 2005. Their emo, rock-based sound, and aggressive live performances have been popular with younger audiences. Since their debut in 2007, they have been very active with their live performances, primarily performing at musical venues nationwide and summer festivals. They have performed at Budokan, outdoor stadiums, large-scale arenas during nationwide tours, and more. In 2016 they held an outdoor concert that attracted 110,000 people, and in 2018 they held a nationwide tour that included two days at Tokyo Dome. ONE OK ROCK has signed contracts with Japanese and overseas labels, released several albums, and completed a world tour of America, Europe, and Asia, establishing itself as a global band. They released the album Eye of the Storm in February 2019. They were also chosen as the opening act for Ed Sheeran's Asia tour. In October 2020, they held their first online live performance from ZOZO Marine Stadium. In July 2021, they held their first acoustic live performance, showcasing a new side of the band. They will release their latest album, Luxury Disease, on September 9, 2022, almost three and a half years after their last work.
