September 25, 2025 – SEGA is thrilled to announce that Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has launched on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch™.
Wave 4 of the Season Pass included in the game's Digital Deluxe Edition, will feature Mega Man as playable character.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is a brand-new title from SEGA’s elite racing game developers.
Crossplay support enables players from around the globe and across multiple platforms to compete together in high-octane, unpredictable races.

Mega Man Blasts onto the Racetrack!

The Season Pass includes Mega Man Pack, where wheel can be set up as Mega Man and Proto Man. The pack also adds the Wily Castle track and the Rush Roadster vehicle, to challenge rivals.

Blaze Through Multiple Courses in Each Unpredictable Race

The game's biggest feature is the introduction of Travel Rings, which transport players from one world to another, completely shaking up each race.
Races consist of 3 laps, each with unique twists. After completing the first lap, pass through the Travel Ring and burst into a CrossWorld. This second lap transforms the course and comes with other massive changes, including randomly spawning gates that bring about Frenzy events. In the final lap, players will return to the original course to finish off with a bang—make use of new shortcuts, obstacles, Rings, items, and more.

Choose from the Largest Selection of Racers to Date

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds offers the biggest roster in the series, with 23 characters from the Sonic universe. Guest racers from other popular titles—including Hatsune Miku, Joker (Persona 5 Royal), and Ichiban Kasuga (Like a Dragon)—will arrive via a free update. Minecraft, SpongeBob SquarePants, and PAC-MAN crossover characters will also hit the track as premium DLC. Stay tuned for more racers that will be revealed over time.

Trick Out an original Machine with A Plethora of Customizable Parts and Gadgets

Fitting a ride with different gadgets grants players all kinds of abilities. With over 70 gadgets to choose from, players will be able to craft a Machine that complements their playstyle. Every aspect of the ride, including its parts, colors, decals, and textures, is customizable—with over 70,000 Machine combinations available.

Engage In Cooperative and Competitive Online Multiplayer with Crossplay Support

Race with players from around the world—and across gaming platforms, thanks to crossplay support. There is a variety of online modes to enjoy, including World Match—a race between 12 players, team-oriented Festival events, and Time Trial.

Digital Deluxe Edition is also available!

The Digital Deluxe Edition of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds contains the base game and the Season Pass, which comes with Nine, Rusty Rose, and Dread from Sonic Prime.
The Season Pass also lets players play as special crossover racers and gives them access to unique machines and courses as they become available. More details will be released soon!
